I also miss that small-town-but-artsy comunity about Denton. I used to go to Dan's Bar by myself to see Earl Harvin play, but I wasn't alone. There was the usual set of people there as well as others I knew who would be there for a one-off. Everyone would listen intently during the show, but at the breaks you could visit with people. A special place, Denton was for me.
